Welcome
These are the webpages of the former computational biology research group at the School of Natural and Computational Sciences, Massey University in New Zealand. Since July 2020, Sebastian has left Massey University and the group has been disestalished. The information contained on these pages are likely outdated.
We analyse genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenetic data from high-throughput experiments to solve biological problems. Please have a look at our research page, our publications, and our tools to get a quick overview of our work.
We enjoy collaboration and actively seek exciting opportunities to do great science together. If you are interested in what we do and you think there could be some synergistic effects we are more than happy to discuss your ideas.
We run free of charge computational workshops. We teach basic computational skills for scientists under the umbrella of the Software and Data Carpentry, as well as more advanced workshops, e.g. in the bioinformatics field.
